My name is Gravy, and I had a rough start in life! When I was a baby, I came to the HSCC suffering from a pellet gunshot wound to my hind leg. In the course of being treated for that, it was also discovered that I had developed lead poisoning from eating lead paint chips. I received dedicated care and treatment for all my medical issues and was able to make a full recovery. Considering my early experiences, it is understandable that I am quite shy around people I don’t know. However, those who are willing to earn my trust are greatly rewarded. If I know I am safe with you, I will go belly up for tummy rubs, and when I am happy, I drool! I am playful with people I trust, and I will come running when I hear my name. I am a genuinely special boy who will bring much joy to the right person or family. I would do well in a loving, attentive household either as an only pet or with extremely mellow feline/canine companionship.
If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet me! I have been neutered and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
