My name is Miss Priss, and when I first came to the HSCC I was very standoffish. I was very confused because I was separated from my babies for a short period of time; my litter arrived at HSCC first and it was a couple of weeks before I was humanely trapped by a good Samaritan and brought to the HSCC. All but one of my kittens were adopted quickly. Peepers, now at Java Cats Café, is also looking for his furever home. I didn’t really want to be handled, but I responded well to toys — specifically, wand toys. So that is how the people here socialized me. After a while, I decided that people were okay after all. I’m not really a lap cat, but I do like people now, and I really like to play! I also enjoy the companionship of other cats and will happily spend all day cuddling with a fellow feline. I’m mellow and calm, and I would likely do well in any loving household that shares those same qualities. Plus I LOVE to get head rubs so that’s one of my requirements.
If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please call 770-428-LOST (5678) to set up an appointment to come meet me! I have been spayed and microchipped and am up to date on all my vaccinations.
