Adopted: Genevieve

Sometimes an intense bond forms between a cat and a person almost instantaneously; those cases seem meant to be, as if they were destined in the stars, and they are a pleasure to witness. Genevieve and her new person are such a case. A picture can speak a thousand words, and the photo of Genevieve and her person gazing at each other says it all.

Genevieve first came to the HSCC pregnant and afraid. She gave birth to her kittens in our shelter, took excellent care of those babies, and then patiently waited for it to be her turn to be doted on. Her wait is over, and we couldn’t be happier for her. This match was meant to be!
