Siblings Cyrus and Simba (formerly known as Searge) were just a few weeks old when they came to the HSCC. They were not yet weaned and required round-the clock attention. The HSCC doesn’t have a formal foster program, but we gratefully accepted the offer of a longtime volunteer to foster these tiny boys in her home.
Through the process of bottle-feeding and caring for them night and day, our volunteer fell in love with Cyrus and Simba. Foster failure syndrome had struck, and these two kitties had found their forever home (click here to read more about their adoption).
Seven months later, these boys are thriving. From a precarious beginning, they have developed in good health and their individual personalities have emerged. Still kittens, they enjoy getting into mischief, and both are curious, sweet, and affectionate.
Fortune has shined upon these two kitties! From being lost and alone shortly after birth, they quickly found their way to a loving family who raised them and will cherish them for the rest of their days. We are thrilled to hear that they remain happy and healthy in their forever home.
