Prince and Duke (BONDED PAIR)
Hair Length: Medium
Prince and Duke are a young pair of tightly bonded siblings who must be adopted together. They were born in the garage of a Good Samaritan; their pregnant mom had sought shelter there, and when she gave birth to her litter, the Good Samaritan allowed her to stay and raise her kittens in safety. These boys are now 9 months old (even though they look full-grown!), and we have taken them under our care to help them find a forever home together.
Prince and Duke have had limited exposure to people, so they are not yet fully socialized. Prince is the more confident of the two, and he has taken on the role of protector with Duke, who looks to him for comfort and security. After spending some time in our no-kill shelter, we transitioned them to Java Cats Café Meowietta in hopes that the ongoing exposure to many different people, combined with the plentiful hiding places and safe spots in the cat lounge, will help with their socialization.
It will take patience and determination to earn the trust of these boys, but they are worth it. Their bond is intense, and it is touching how much they love and depend on each other. They are handsome and graceful, and they both have an enthusiastic love for wet food. They will do best in a quiet home without children or dogs.
If you think Prince and Duke would be a good fit for your home, please make a reservation to come meet them at the Java Cats Café Meowietta cat lounge! They have been neutered and microchipped and are up to date on all their vaccinations.
