My name is Violet, and as you can see, I am a stunning beauty. However, I’m definitely not an “entry-level” cat! I seek a home with an experienced cat person who speaks fluent feline. A person with such experience will be able to recognize and appreciate my uniquely affectionate nature, as well as my boundaries. When I was a kitten, I lived in a home where I was handled roughly by the resident toddler; this experience has contributed to my lifelong low tolerance for being handled. However, a person who can interpret and respect my cues and body language will be rewarded with intense affection if willing to accept it on my terms. I enjoy being petted in a particular manner, and I will lean on, rub on, groom, headbutt, and prance for those special humans who are able to tune in to my wavelength.

 

I can coexist with independent, medium-temperament cats, but I require a home without small children.
