My name is Woody, and I’m a sweet, goofy boy. I’m a bit socially awkward, but that’s just a part of my charm! I LOVE people and happily soak up human attention. One way I show affection is by giving head butts which, I’ll be honest, aren’t particularly graceful. When human friends scratch my back, I express my pleasure with playful nibbles and various “happy tail” poses (most cat lovers know all about cat tail language!).

 

I also like to talk. When I meow, I sound like a kitten, even though I’m full-grown. Like many cats, I’m wary of new situations, so I’ll situate myself in a safe space while I acclimate and scope things out. When I’m ready and comfortable, I’ll gradually ease my way in.

 

Everyone who meets me agrees that I’m quirky and endearing. I enjoy the company of other calm, non-dominant cats, and I might even do well with a very mellow dog. I have year-round allergies, but they’re easily treated with simple medication, which I’m accustomed to receiving twice per day.
